Tellagami

A guide to using Tellagami in your classroom

iPads/iPods
Create a short video presentation quickly and easily using the Tellagami app.......
Tellagami has a multitude of uses in the classroom. Students used it recently to present some research they had done on dinosaurs (see below). After using the app to record their information, students were then able to replay what they had done and reflect on their presentation skills.
Did they speak clearly; too quickly; with expression?
The final product is easily saved to the iPad Library and then can be added to student portfolios, blogs or websites or emailed.

The opening screen allows you to customise your "gami" and add an emotion. You can also change the background by taking a photo, adding one from the iPad library or selecting one which comes with the programme

Once this is all done, click on the "back arrow" and then the short grey arrow to bring up your recording screen.
There is a text to speech option (with a selection of voices) however I haven't had any success using that within the school wifi environment and I prefer to have the students recording themselves anyway.
You can record for up to 30 seconds with the very simple record & stop button.
The "back arrow" will take you back to the main screen again where you will need to click on the "share" tick to choose one of the saving options
