Voki is a brilliant online tool with endless possibilities for use in the classroom and it can be used free of charge. |
Here are some tips to get you started
Go to the Voki site & select the create tab.
Customise your character - male/female; fantasy/toon/animals; clothing and bling. (A cap on the top right corner indicates it can only be used if you are a member) |
When finished, click the Done tab at the bottom.
|
Now you can give your Voki a voice. Select your input method
(We find typing text to voice the easiest to use in the classroom) |
Type in your speech & then select the effects you would like to use. There are different accents, languages, characters & some special effects
|
Click done when you are happy with your recording & then select the Background tab. There are lots of categories to choose from including animated.
|
The colour of your play buttons & border can be changed by selecting the Players tab. Then click on the Done tab
