Mondrian Style Art using Word tables; cells, columns; rows; merging...
This activity enables students to learn about tables, cells, rows, columns, shading, borders, merging and splitting cells whilst creating an attractive artwork based on the style of Piet Mondrian
Whilst Mondrian used a white ground and the 3 primary colours, I encourage students to devise their own scheme - colourful, warm colours, cool colours, shades of a colour etc.
The only "rule" is that they cannot have the same colour sharing an edge. How is it done?
